Materials Needed:
- Empty Spool from wire ribbon
- Candle Shade which is a free template from
Melt My Heart
- wooden head 1"
- 8" matching lace
- Bow for front embellishment
- Any other embellishments you might want
Directions:
I used a wooden 1 inch ball painted into a gingerbread head ~ .
I cut the spool down to 2 1/2 inches and then I attached the head
(Be sure to save the cap off the spool as that is what the head attaches to)
I then designed, printed, laminated and taped the candle shade together
Next, I glued it to the top of the spool ~ Be sure to stick some glue underneath also
because if you don't the shade will slip.
Then I embellished them with misc. items.
*NOTE:If you don't have a wire spool available, you will need to find something that fits the shape of the cone and cut it to the correct height.
