Make boas for kids or adults in prints, solids or a combination
of both.
This project would make a great fundraiser done in your
school colors & For Craft fairs as well!
Materials:
- 3/8 yd. OR (3) 1/8 yd. pieces fleece (adult) OR 1/3 yd.
OR (3) 1/8 yd. pieces outerwear fleece (child) thread
Directions:
Cut: (3) 4" x 60" pieces fleece (adult) OR (3) 3" x 50" pieces
fleece (child)
- Stack pieces, matching all cut edges.
- Using a narrow zigzag or lightning stitch, stitch lengthwise
down the center through all layers.
- Cut fringe 1/2" apart and to within 1/4" of stitching
on each long edge as shown.
This is the suggested way of making them, but I thought
3 pieces of fleece did not make it look thick enough, so
I doubled it and used 6.
